Release date for A Quiet Place sequel revealed, Emily Blunt returning to star
A release date for the sequel to A Quiet Place has been confirmed.
The movie, which was released in April 2018, took over $340 million at the box office on a budget of just $17 million, meaning a sequel was swiftly ordered.
According to Variety, the sequel will arrive in cinemas on May 15th in 2020. Emily Blunt and co-stars Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds are all in talks to reprise their roles, with Krasinski directing once again.
Based on a story by Bryan Woods and Scott Beck, A Quiet Place starred Krasinski and Blunt as a married couple with two children who are forced to live in total silence thanks to the presence of some mysterious and terrifying creatures occupying the farm where they live, and who will hunt and attack them at the slightest noise.
Krasinski also directed and co-wrote the screenplay for the movie, which was produced by Michael Bay.
