Release date for Spider-Man: Far From Home brought forward

The release date for Spider-Man: Far From Home has been brought forward.

The film is the sequel from Spider-Man: Homecoming, which introduced us to Tom Holland's Spider-Man, his life in high school and his battle with Michael Keaton's villain Vulture.

It had been due to be released into UK cinemas on July 5th, but will now arrive on July 2nd.

This movie is set after Avengers: Endgame and follows Peter Parker and his friends go on summer vacation to Europe.

Sadly, it quickly goes awry and there Peter finds himself trying to save his friends against a villain known as Mysterio.

Spider-Man: Far From Home will see director Jon Watts return to take charge, with Jake Gyllenhaal taking the role of villain Mysterio.

Keaton, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei and Jacob Batalon all reprise their roles, while Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders also have supporting roles.
