Rihanna, Anne Hathaway and Awkwafina join all-female Ocean's Eleven spin-off
The line-up for the forthcoming all-female reboot of heist thriller Ocean's Eleven is now almost complete.
According to Deadline, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway and rapper Awkwafina look set to join Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kahling and Helena Bonham Carter in the movie.
There is still one more actress left to cast, but it appears it won't be Elizabeth Banks, who'd previously been confirmed for the project, which is to be titled Ocean's Echo.
Gary Ross, director of the first Hunger Games movie, is to direct the reboot, working from a screenplay from Queen & Country writer Olivia Milch.
The original series, which included sequels Ocean's 12 and Ocean's 13, starred George Clooney as Danny Ocean, an ex-con who assembles a crack team to pull off a series of ever-more daring heists.
Production on the new movie, which will follow eight master criminals as they try to pull off a daring heist, is expected to get underway before the end of the year.
