Rihanna set for role in Bond 24?
Rihanna is set for a role in the next James Bond film, according to reports this weekend.
The Sunday Mirror reports that the singer has been tapped by producers for a role in the new film, which is still known as Bond 24.
A source told the paper: "Rihanna is a big fan of the Bond films and has always loved the idea of appearing in one. She didn't even need to think about it, she knows she wants to do it. She's really excited."
Production on the follow-up to Skyfall is due to begin later this year, with the film currently scheduled to be released on October 23rd in 2015.
Skyfall director Sam Mendes will return to the director's chair, with screenwriter John Logan currently at work on the script.
The film is set to be Daniel Craig's penultimate outing as Bond, with the actor now only contracted for two more films.
