Robert Downey Jnr opens up about his future as Iron Man
Robert Downey Jr has opened up about his role as Iron Man and has hinted that there may be more to come from him in that role in future years.
Earlier this month, Downey Jr said that there were no plans for a fourth Iron Man movie, but, when speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, took a more philosophical attitude when talking about it.
Asked about his role as Tony Stark and its future, he said: "I'm sure we'll ride that thing. You've got to surf that all the way in to shore. I think I was at the forefront of something that was coming into being, and I think it has carried me as much as I have informed it."
He continued: "That's the healthy way to look at it. It's so easy to become inflated by the successes, but what they really are are long, strong trends. It's just another wave."
Downey Jr is promoting his new thriller The Judge. The film is due out in October and you can see the trailer below.
