Rocky star Tony Burton dies aged 78
Tony Burton, best known for his role as Tony "Duke" Evers in six of the Rocky movies, has died at the age of 78.
According to BBC News, Burton's cause of death is currently not confirmed, but his sister Loretta Kelly, said he had regularly been in hospital over the past year.
As well as his roles in Rocky, Burton (pictured second from the left in the picture above) also appeared in movies like The Shining and Stir Crazy as well as taking roles in TV shows such as The A-Team, NYPD Blue, Kojak and Twin Peaks.
But he will be best known to fans as Evers, the man who trained both Rocky and his great rival Apollo Creed.
Burton's co-star Carl Weathers, who starred as Creed, has been among those to pay tribute to the actor.
