Reported running time and synopsis for Fast & Furious 8

The reported running time and synopsis for Fast & Furious 8 has been unveiled. 

Although yet to be formally confirmed, IMDB currently have the movie's running times listed as 160 minutes, or two hours and forty minutes, making it the longest movie in the franchise's history by a full 23 minutes. 

Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky and Kurt Russell all return to star while Charlize Theron, Scott Eastwood and Helen Mirren all join the cast.

The new movie, which is titled The Fate Of The Furious in other nations, has been directed by F. Gary Gray, the man responsible for Straight Outta Compton, he works from a script from Chris Morgan, who has written the last six films for the franchise. 

The official synopsis for the film has been revealed and reads as follows: "Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game - and the rest of the crew has been exonerated - the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman (Theron) seduces Dom into the world of crime he can’t seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before."

The movie will be released into UK cinemas on April 14th in 2017.
