Running time for Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk revealed
The running time for Christopher Nolan's new war epic Dunkirk has been unveiled.
The movie depicts the real-life events of an infamous battle in World War II where hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops were surrounded by enemy forces, trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.
It stars Mark Rylance, Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy and Kenneth Branagh, with 71's Jack Lowden, War & Peace's Aneurin Barnard and One Direction's Harry Styles also taking small roles.
The running time for the movie has been announced and it's a skinny one hour and 47 minutes, the second shortest movie of Nolan's career to date and a full 62 minutes shorter than his previous movie Interstellar.
The movie hits cinemas on July 21st this summer.
