Running time for Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's Rampage is in
The running time for Rampage, the new blockbuster starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Naomie Harris, has been unveiled.
Rampage was a hugely popular Midway arcade game in the 1980s that involved three giant monsters, a gorilla, a lizard and a wolf that wreaking havoc on major cities and landmarks across North America.
In the new movie, which has a script from Non-Stop writer Ryan Eagle, Johnson plays primatologist Davis Okoye, a man who shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, albino silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth.
But when a rogue genetic experiment goes awry, this gentle ape mutates into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse the same thing has happened to an alligator and a wolf in other parts of the country. To try and save the day, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote and avoid getting crushed to death.
The movie, which will be released into UK cinemas on April 13th, will clock in at 107 minutes, or one hour and 47 minutes.
Starring alongside Johnson and Harris are Malin Åkerman, Joe Manganiello, Jake Lacy, Marley Shelton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
Brad Peyton, who previously directed Johnson in San Andreas, is in the director's chair.
