Running time for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald unveiled
The running time for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, the sequel to Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, has been unveiled.
The sequel, which will hit UK cinemas on November 16th, will clock in at 133 minutes, or two hours and 13 minutes, making it exactly the same length as the first film.
At the end of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, we watched as dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured by Magical Congress of the United States of America, with the help of Newt Scamander.
But, in the sequel, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set now about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.
In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead...
Jude Law joins the cast for the sequel and will play Albus Dumbledore when is just beginning his career at Hogwarts, serving as the wizarding school’s Transfiguration professor, with Eddie Redmayne, Ezra Miller, Katherine Waterson, Alison Sudol and Dan Fogler all returning to star. Johnny Depp will play Grindelwald.
The sequel has once again been written by J.K. Rowling and directed by David Yates, who was behind the camera on four of the eight Harry Potter films and Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.
