Running time for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom unveiled
The running time for Jurassic World sequel Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has been unveiled.
The sequel will arrive in cinemas on June 6th this summer. Both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will return to star with Rafe Spall, Toby Jones and James Cromwell among the new actors joining the cast.
The movie's running time is 128 minutes, making it four minutes longer than Jurassic World and the second longest movie in the franchise's history.
The new film sees Pratt's Navy veteran Owen Grady returning to the island of Isla Nublar following the demise of the dinosaur theme park sited there, lured back by Howard's Claire Dearing - a former park manager and founder of the newly-established Dinosaur Protection Group - with the aim of saving the prehistoric creatures from dying out once again.
Director Juan Antonio Bayona, who is best known for his work on The Impossible, takes over from Colin Trevorrow, who opted not to direct the sequel, but has written the script with regular collaborator Derek Connolly.
