Running time for Solo: A Star Wars Story unveiled
The running time for Solo: A Star Wars Story, the new Star Wars spin-off about young Han Solo, has been unveiled.
The film's running time is two hours and 15 minutes. It was revealed as the programme for the Cannes Film Festival, where the movie will premiere, was unveiled.
Alden Ehrenreich, star of Hail, Caesar and Beautiful Creatures plays young Han Solo, with Donald Glover, best known for his roles in Community and The Martian, taking the role of young Lando Calrissian, while Game Of Thrones' Emilia Clarke and Woody Harrelson also have key roles in the spin-off.
The story follows young Solo as he makes his way through the galaxy's criminal underworld, meeting Chewbacca and notorious gambler Lando Calrissian along the way.
Ron Howard directs this spin-off, having taken over midway through production after the departure of original directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord.
The movie is due to be released on May 25th this year and is the second Star Wars spin-off following the release of Rogue One - A Star Wars Story, which is out on DVD now.
