Running time for Wonder Woman 1984 unveiled
The running time for Wonder Woman 1984 has been revealed.
The new superhero blockbuster, which hits cinemas in the autumn, will clock in at 151 minutes, making it 10 minutes longer than the first movie.
Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen return for Wonder Woman 1984, while Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Rothwell, Ravi Patel, Gabriella Wilde and Oakley Bull join the cast.
In the sequel, Gadot's Diana Prince goes up against two foes, Pascal's Maxwell Lord, a businessman and entrepreneur who is famous for TV infomercials, and Wiig's Cheetah, a rich heiress who through an ancient ritual acquires supernatural feline powers.
The film is set in 1984 and also sees the return of Pine's Steve Trevor, Prince's love interest who was presumed to have died during the events of the first film.
Pattie Jenkins returns to direct, working from a script from DC head honcho Geoff Johns and Godzilla writer David Callaham.
Initially due for release in June, Wonder Woman 1984 will be released into UK cinemas on October 2nd in 2020.
