A first trailer for Boy Erased, the new drama starring Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman, has debuted online. Click below to watch it:
Garrard Conley's 2016 memoir, which recounted his childhood in a fundamentalist Arkansas family who enrolled him in gay conversion therapy, becomes a movie in this new drama.
Joel Edgerton writes, directs and takes a key role, while Lucas Hedges plays Conley himself as he comes out to his family and is then sent to therapy.
Crowe and Kidman play Conley's parents, while Red Hot Chilli Peppers' Flea, Xavier Dolan, singer Troye Sivan and Joe Alwyn also co-star.
The movie will be released into US cinemas on November 2nd, but has yet to confirm a UK release date.
