Ruth Wilson, Cush Jumbo, Rosamund Pike set to star in Take That musical film Greatest Days
Ruth Wilson, Cush Jumbo and Rosamund Pike are in talks to star in Greatest Days, a new musical built around the songs of Take That.
The musical tells the story of five women who were best friends as teenagers and all big fans of a boyband, simply known as The Band.
25 years later after losing contact the four of them reunite to fulfil their dream of seeing the band perform live.
Coky Giedroyc, who has just directed the big-screen adaptation of Caitlin Moran's How To Build A Girl, will direct, working from a script by Tim Firth.
The musical, which was originally cast by BBC reality show Let It Shine, first debuted in September of 2017 at Manchester Opera House, before embarking on a UK and Ireland tour and a West End run.
It includes a number of Take That classics, while the band are set to write an original track to go alongside the musical.
