Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe join Iron Man 3's Shane Black's new cop drama
Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe have been confirmed for Iron Man 3 director Shane Black's new cop drama Nice Guys.
The pair have been confirmed to star in the new drama, which Black is currently preparing alongside his new reboot of Predator.
Nice Guys, which has been acquired by Warner Brothers, will be set in the 1970s and sees a private detective and his hired muscle join forces to try and solve a mystery connected to the suicide of a fading porn star.
Black and co-writer Anthony Bagarozzi original conceived the project as a television show, but this never progressed beyond the pilot stage, however it is now set to be released as a feature film by Joel Silver under his Silver Pictures banner.
Gosling's directorial debut Lost River premiered earlier this summer at Cannes Film Festival, but has no current release date for the UK.
Crowe is currently filming alongside Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul in new drama Fathers And Daughters.
