Scoot McNairy joins the cast of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Scoot McNairy has become the latest addition the the ever-growing list of actors set to appear in Quentin Tarantino's upcoming film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, a film loosely set around the Charles Manson murders that occurred in the famous Los Angeles neighbourhood at the tail end of the 1960s.
McNairy, whose has appeared in films such as Argo, War Machine and Gone Girl, joins a stellar cast that already includes Al Pacino, Leonardo Di Caprio, Margot Robbie, Tim Roth, Dakota Fanning, Damian Lewis and Luke Perry – and that's by no means an exhaustive list.
In recent weeks there have been a few voices questioning whether a film referencing Charles Manson's exploits is a good idea, but Tarantino seems determined to continue and, in any case, is understood to be basing the film around a series of intertwining stories, chiefly centred around the characters of Di Caprio's Western TV star and his stunt double, played by Brad Pitt.
There's no UK release date for Tarantino's film as yet, but filming has already begun and the movie is set to appear in US cinemas on August 9th 2019.
