Short new preview for Marvel's Black Widow unveiled
A short new preview for Marvel's new stand-alone movie for Black Widow has been unveiled. Click below to watch it:
Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow is assassin Natasha Romanoff.
Romanoff has been played by Scarlett Johansson over eight movies, dating all the way back to Iron Man 2.
The character's origins are as a Russian spy, an antagonist of the superhero Iron Man, but she later defected to the United States, becoming an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
This movie is set after the events of Captain America: Civil War and the film finds Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff alone and suddenly forced to confront her past.
Starring alongside Johansson are Florence Pugh, David Harbour, O-T Fagbenle, William Hurt, Ray Winstone and Rachel Weisz.
Cate Shortland, director of Lore and Berlin Syndrome, takes charge, working from a script from Thor: Ragnarok co-writer Eric Pearson.
Black Widow will be released into UK cinemas on May 1st.
