Bryan Singer showcases new X-Men: Apocalypse production artwork

Here’s the first taster of what you might be able to expect from the brand new X-Men movie.

Even though we’re still a couple of months removed from production even starting on Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse, the director has released some of the film’s official concept artwork by way of his personal Instagram account.

X-Men fans might recognise the below image as potentially a moment where Oscar Isaac’s En Sabah Nur is close to becoming Apocalypse but we’ll have to wait until May of next year to find out for sure upon the film’s release.

The artwork was designed by designer Grant Major, who also provided his skills to the Lord of the Rings.

X-Men: Apocalypse is set in the 1980s and pits Magneto, Professor X and Mystique up against the enormously powerful mutant Apocalypse.

Some production art. #XmenApocalypse #GrantMajor I was a little busy but will continue to snap more.
