"These films are going to branch out in a whole bunch of other ways..." - hmv.com talks to the cast of Spider-Man: Far From Home
With the arrival of Avengers: Endgame in April this year came a climactic end to the most momentous storyline we've seen yet in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and this week it falls to director Jon Watts to pick up where Endgame left off with the next chapter of the Marvel saga.
Tom Holland returns to cinema screens this week in the guise of your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, who we find in a post-Snap world mourning the loss of Tony Stark and looking for a new hero to pick up the baton. Still getting to grips with his superhero status and reeling from the battles against Thanos, Peter Parker just wants to take some time out and enjoy a vacation with his friends, heading off on a school trip to Europe that he hopes will provide an opportunity to tell Zendaya's MJ how he really feels about her.
But it isn't long before duty calls and his plans for rest and relaxation are rudely interrupted by a new, mysterious threat to the planet - one that he'll need to make some new friends to defeat.
With Spider-Man: Far From Home heading into cinemas on Tuesday (July 2nd) we sat down with Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal, Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon to talk all things Marvel. Watch our interview with the cast below...
