A Most Wanted Man

When a half-Chechen, half-Russian, tortured half-to-death immigrant turns up in Hamburg's Islamic community, laying claim to his father's ill gotten fortune, both German and US security agencies take a close interest: as the clock ticks down and the stakes rise, the race is on to establish this most wanted man's true identity - oppressed victim or destruction-bent extremist?

Director: Anton Corbijn

A Most Wanted Man is the perfect send-off to a brilliant talent. From Capote to The Master, Phillip Seymour-Hoffman was constantly exceptional, and never more so than this rousing crescendo.

Sporting an excellent German accent, Seymour-Hoffman is thrown into a metaphorical snake-pit, as several governments and local forces watch his every step.

Based off the John Le Carre novel of the same title, the story is a deep, chilling look into the world of modern espionage.

A Most Wanted Man will put you through a mental obstacle course, with little chance of providing the cathartic pay-off you’ll be itching for.
