Terrifying first trailer for Stephen King's It unveiled

A terrifying first trailer for the new take on Stephen King's It has been unveiled, click below to watch it.

The film is based on King's 1986 novel, which was originally adapted into a two-part television film in 1990, starring Tim Curry in the iconic titular role. It centred around a group of children who must face off against a force that takes on its victims' greatest fears, horrifically personified by Pennywise the Clown.

The new movie stars Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise with Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Nicholas Hamilton in supporting roles.

The film has been directed by Andrés Muschietti, director of Mama, who stepped in to take over from True Detective creator Cary Fukunaga, who left after disagreements with Warner Brothers. He still is a credited writer on the movie along with Chase Palmer and Gary Dauberman.

It will be released into cinemas on September 8th this year.
