The Crow remake to be shot in Spring 2015
The remake of cult action classic The Crow is set to shot in the spring of 2015.
Luke Evans, star of Dracula Untold and Fast 6, is strongly rumoured to be taking the leading role in the remake, which originally starred Brandon Lee.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, producer Ed Pressman has said that production on the remake will be begin in spring next year. F. Javier Gutiérrez is slated to direct the film.
Speaking about the film, Pressman said: "It still has a big fan base even though it was so long ago. But the generation today doesn't even know The Crow." Pressman also described the film as "the anti Spider-Man".
The Crow tells the story of Eric Draven, a rock musician who is revived from the dead to avenge his murder and that of his fiancée.
The original entered film notoriety when Lee was accidentally killed during filming. The actor was mortally wounded after being shot in the back during a stunt that went horribly wrong.
