The Fly set for a second remake
The Fly, the much-loved horror movie about a man who slowly transforms into a fly, is set for a second reboot.
The movie was first made in 1958, that time produced and directed by Kurt Neumann and based on a short story by George Langelaan and it spawned two sequels.
It was then remade in 1986 with David Cronenberg directing and Jeff Goldblum starring.
Now, according to Deadline, studio 20th Century Fox has tapped J. D. Dillard, writer and director of hotly-tipped new horror flick Sleight.
Dillard will begin work on the screenplay with writing partner Alex Theurer as soon as the pair complete work on their new movie Sweetheart, which is currently in pre-production.
