Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson finally takes on an opponent that is bigger than him in this almighty blockbuster.

Johnson plays primatologist Davis Okoye, a man who shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, albino silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth.

But when a rogue genetic experiment goes awry, this gentle ape mutates into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse the same thing has happened to an alligator and a wolf in other parts of the country. To try and save the day, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote and avoid getting crushed to death.

Starring alongside Johnson and Harris are Malin Åkerman, Joe Manganiello, Jake Lacy, Marley Shelton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
