Ready Player, Love, Simon, Isle Of Dogs and Blockers are among this week's new releases on DVD.

Steven Spielberg has already wowed audiences with his political drama The Post, but he wastes no time with a follow-up, with sci-fi spectacular Ready Player One arriving on DVD shelves this week. 

Starring Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn, Mark Rylance, Simon Pegg, and T. J. Miller, the movie, which is based on the best-selling novel by Ernest Cline, sees Spielberg working from a script from Zak Penn.

Ready Player One is set in the near future and is focused on a young outcast named Wade Watts. Watts, like most kids of his age, spends a lot of time playing and talking to friends in a massively multiplayer online game called 'The Oasis'.

But, when the game's billionaire founder James Halliday dies, he offers players his fortune as the prize in an Easter egg hunt within The Oasis, leading Watts to try and get in on the action, only to find himself facing some terrifying competition.

Becky Albertalli's bestselling young adult saga Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda gets the big screen treatment next month.

Nick Robinson, best known for his roles in Jurassic World and Everything Everything, stars alongside 13 Reasons Why’s Katherine Langford, with Josh Duhamel, Jennifer Garner and Alexandra Shipp also in key roles.

The story follows Simon, a boy in high school who is weighing up when the right time to tell his friends and family that he is gay. Sadly, when someone attempts to blackmail him, the timing is taken out of his hands…

At long last, a new movie arrives from Wes Anderson.

For his new movie, the director returns to the stop-motion animation that he utilised on Fantastic Mr Fox for a brand new coming of age comedy.

The film features the voices of Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Kunichi Nomura, Greta Gerwig, Frances McDormand, Courtney B. Vance, Fisher Stevens, Mari Natsuki, Harvey Keitel, Koyu Rankin, Liev Schreiber, Bob Balaban, Scarlett Johansson and Tilda Swinton.

In this new movie, we find ourselves in a dystopian future Japan in which dogs have been quarantined on the remote eponymous island due to a "canine flu".

We follow five local dogs named Chief, Rex, Boss, Duke, and King. They are fed up with their isolated existence until a boy named Atari Kobayashi ventures to the island to search for his dog, Spots. Together they set out to find him...
