Thor: Ragnarok, The Death Of Stalin, Goodbye Christopher Robin and Jigsaw are among this week's new releases on DVD.

The Norse God gets his third solo outing with Ragnarok, an epic new instalment.

The movie sees Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchett, Creed star Tessa Thompson, Dredd's Karl Urban and Jeff Goldblum added to the cast, they join a returning Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins and Jaime Alexander.

In order to return to Asgard in time to stop Hela and the impending Ragnarök, the doom of the Asgardian civilisation, Thor is forced to turn to some unlikely allies.

The movie, which has been directed by Taika Waititi, best known for his work writing and directing comedy The Hunt For Wilderpeople and vampire spoof What We Do In The Shadows.

Waititi, known for his comedy, brings a playfulness and style to this new movie, which moves on from the dark tone of previous instalment The Dark World.

After relinquishing control of HBO hit Veep, Armando Iannucci takes his searing political satire to the movies with The Death Of Stalin.

The film stars Adrian McLoughlin, Jeffrey Tambor, Steve Buscemi, Olga Kurylenko and Michael Palin.

It is set in the final days of Russian dictator Josef Stalin and depicts the chaos of the regime after his death.

Simon Russell Beale, Paddy Considine, Andrea Riseborough, Rupert Friend and Jason Isaacs are also in the cast.

Iannucci directs and has written the script with comedian David Schneider and Ian Martin, who worked with him on The Thick Of It.

Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy star in this tender drama.

The movie is the directorial debut of Andy Serkis and tells the story of Robin Cavendish, the father of the movie's producer Jonathan Cavendish.

Cavendish was given only three months to live after being paralysed from the neck down by polio at the age of 28 but went on to become a pioneering advocate for the disabled, travelling the world alongside his wife Diana.

Co-starring with Foy and Garfield are Diana Rigg, Miranda Raison, Tom Hollander, Hugh Bonneville, and Dean-Charles Chapman.

The script comes from William Nicholson, writer of Gladiator and Les Misérables.

We all thought we’d seen the last of the Saw franchise with the release of The Final Chapter in 2010, but the franchise has been rebooted and reimagined and now comes to DVD. 

Mandela Van Peebles, Laura Vandervoort, Brittany Allen, Callum Keith Rennie, Clé Bennett, Matt Passmore, Hannah Emily Anderson, Paul Braunstein and Josiah Black all star.

Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig, the German brothers who have previously been behind the camera on thriller Predestination and horror Daybreakers, are in charge.

This time we find a murder epidemic ongoing with bodies turning up daily, the trouble is the evidence all points to one man: John Kramer. But how can this be? The man known as Jigsaw has been dead for over a decade...

Domhnall Gleeson and Margot Robbie star in this tender re-telling of the life of A.A.Milne, creator of the hugely successful children's series Winnie The Pooh, and his interactions with his young son Christopher Robin, which would go on to inspire Milne’s beloved stories.

Gleeson plays Milne, Robbie plays Daphne de Sélincourt, A. A. Milne’s wife, while there are also roles for Kelly Macdonald, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Alex Lawther.

The film has been directed by My Week With Marilyn's Simon Curtis and has a script from Simon Vaughan and 24 Hour Party People scribe Frank Cottrell-Boyce.
