This Week's New DVDs: July 23rd 2018

The successful family adventure arrives on DVD this week. 

The movie, which is based on the classic story by Beatrix Potter, features the voices of James Corden, Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson, Sam Neill, Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki and Daisy Ridley.

Corden voices Peter, the mischievous and adventurous hero whose feud with farmer Mr McGregor escalates to greater heights than ever before as they rival for the affections of the warm-hearted animal lover who lives next door.  

The film has been directed by Will Gluck, who was last in action directing the remaking of Annie

Rooney Mara plays Mary Magdalene in this new drama about the life of Jesus’s first female follower.

Joaquin Phoenix plays Jesus with Chiwetel Ejiofor as Peter and The Last Panthers' Tahar Rahim playing Judas.

Garth Davis, who most recently directed Lion, takes charge of this, working from a script from Helen Edmundson and Philippa Goslett.
