This Week's New DVDs: July 24th 2017

Kong: Skull Island, Get Out, Pretty Little Liars and The Lost City Of Z are among this week's new releases on DVD.

Last time King Kong was on our cinema screens it was in the hands of Peter Jackson, but now he gets a new reboot.

The movie stars Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, John Goodman, John C. Reilly, Tian Jing, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Thomas Mann, Shea Whigham, Toby Kebbell and Eugene Cordero. Jordan Vogt-Roberts, who was recently behind the camera on indie hit The Kings Of Summer, directs.

Set in the 1970s, it follows a team of explorers brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific, all the while unaware that they are crossing into the domain of the mythical giant gorilla known as Kong, who may not be the only monster hiding there...

At first when they arrive everything seems nice, but then things soon start to unveil in the weirdest possible way...

Helen McCrory stars in this six-parter from ITV and Homeland writer Patrick Harbinson. McCrory plays human rights lawyer Emma Banville who makes it her mission to help a man convicted of murdering a 15-year-old schoolgirl who is still protesting his innocence.
