Red Sparrow
20th Century Fox
Jennifer Lawrence takes centre stage in this dark new action thriller.
The movie is an adaptation of Jason Matthews' best-selling novel, which follows Dominika Egorov, former prima ballerina turned state intelligence officer.
Despite her reservations, Egorov is drafted to become a “Sparrow,” a trained seductress in the service and asked to operate against Nathaniel Nash, a first-tour CIA officer who handles the agency’s most sensitive penetration of Russian intelligence.
Co-starring alongside Lawrence are Joel Edgerton, Jeremy Irons, Matthias Schoenaerts, Ciaran Hinds, Joely Richardson, Mary Louise Parker and Charlotte Rampling.
The movie has been directed by Francis Lawrence, who directed Lawrence in three of the four Hunger Games movies. Snitch scribe Justin Haythe has written the script.
Lean On Pete

Charlie Plummer, Travis Fimmel, Steve Buscemi, Chloe Sevigny and Steve Zahn star in this tender drama.
The story follows 15-year-old Charley, who has just moved with his Father to Portland, Oregon. With his Father struggling with personal demons, Charley finds camaraderie at a local racetrack where he lands a job caring for an ageing quarter horse named Lean On Pete.
Andrew Haigh, writer and director of Looking and 45 Years, takes charge.

Bryan Brown, Hamilton Morris, Ewen Leslie and Sam Neill come together for this dust in throat drama.
Set in Australia in 1929, the movie follows Sam, a middle-aged Aborigine man who becomes a wanted criminal after a violent altercation with a bitter war veteran.
After he is forced to flee across the harsh desert country, he pursued by a hunting party led by the local lawman, who plans to ruthlessly hunt him down.

Saturday Night Live regular Taran Killam directs, writes and stars alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bobby Moynihan, Hannah Simone and Cobie Smulders in this action spectacular.
The movie follows eccentric assassins are fed up with Gunther, the world's greatest hitman, and decide to kill him, but their plan turns into a series of bungled encounters as Gunther seems to always be one step ahead...

Sofia soon finds herself pulled into London's criminal underworld as those responsible attempt to tie up any loose ends that could lead police to her killers, including her visually impaired neighbour.
Starring alongside Dormer is a cast that includes Ed Skrein, Emily Ratajkowski, Joely Richardson and Neil Maskill.
