Daddy's Home 2, Film Stars Don't Die In Liverpool, Requiem and Professor Marston and the Wonder Women are among this week's new releases on DVD.

After the original scooped almost $250 million in box office receipts, Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg return to lock horns again for a second time.

In the new movie, we find Wahlberg's Dusty and Ferrell's Brad joining forces to provide their kids with the perfect Christmas. Their newfound partnership is put to the test when Dusty's old-school, macho Dad and Brad's ultra-affectionate and emotional Dad arrive just in time to throw the holiday into complete chaos.

As well as Ferrell and Wahlberg, both Linda Cardellini and John Cena also return with Mel Gibson and John Lithgow joining the cast.

Horrible Bosses 2 director Sean Anders is behind the camera once again, working from a script he co-wrote with John Morris.

Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool

This new drama, which has been tipped to be a fixture of Awards season, stars Annette Bening and Jamie Bell and tells the story of the real-life story of actor Peter Turner and follows the playful but passionate relationship between Turner and the eccentric Academy Award-winning actress Gloria Grahame

Starring alongside Bell and Bening are Julie Walters, Vanessa Redgrave, Kenneth Cranham, Stephen Graham, Frances Barber and Leanne Best.

Paul McGuigan is in the director's chair, working from a script from Control writer Matt Greenhalgh. James Bond's Barbara Broccoli is among the producers.

Professor Marston and the Wonder Women

Luke Evans, Rebecca Hall and Bella Heathcote, best known for her turn in Fifty Shades Of Darker, all star in this complex drama.

The movie documents the unconventional life of Dr William Marston, the Harvard psychologist and inventor who helped invent the modern lie detector test and created Wonder Woman in 1941.

Marston's personal life was unusual, he was in a polyamorous relationship with his wife Elizabeth, a psychologist and inventor in her own right, and Olive Byrne, a former student who became an academic. This relationship was key to the creation of Wonder Woman and is explored in this biopic.

Evans plays Marston, Hall is Elizabeth and Heathcote plays Olive. Starring alongside Evans, Hall and Heathcote are Frank L. Ridley, Connie Britton and Oliver Platt.

The film has been directed by Angela Robinson, best known for her work on True Blood and teen drama Gigantic.

BBC One’s tense drama gets a DVD release this week. It boasts an excellent cast, with the likes of Star Trek Beyond’s Lydia Wilson, Plebs' Joel Fry, Game Of Thrones' Tara Fitzgerald and No Offence leading lady Joanna Scanlan all onboard.

The six-parter follows Wilson’s Matilda Gray, a successful cellist about to set off on a concert tour of New York, whose life is thrown into chaos when her mother commits suicide, with no obvious reason as to why she would want to take her own life.

Determined to find out more, Gray, her best friend Hal and a stranger named Nick head off on a journey which leads her to a Welsh village haunted by its past…
