Jurassic World - Fallen Kingdom (hmv Exclusive) Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD Steelbook

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Universal Pictures

After taking almost $1.7 billion at the box office with Jurassic World in 2015, it was unsurprising that a sequel was swiftly ordered and it arrives on DVD this week.

Both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will return to star in the sequel with Rafe Spall, Toby Jones and James Cromwell among the new actors joining the cast.

The new film sees Pratt's Navy veteran Owen Grady returning to the island of Isla Nublar following the demise of the dinosaur theme park sited there, lured back by Howard's Claire Dearing - a former park manager and founder of the newly-established Dinosaur Protection Group - with the aim of saving the prehistoric creatures from dying out once again.

Director Juan Antonio Bayona, who is best known for his work on The Impossible, takes over from Colin Trevorrow, who opted not to direct the sequel, but has written the script with regular collaborator Derek Connolly.
