This Week's New DVDs: September 10th 2018

Entebbe, I Feel Pretty, Modern Family and Age Before Beauty are among this week's new releases on DVD.

Rosamund Pike and Daniel Brühl star in this controversial drama, recounting the story of Operation Entebbe, a 1976 counter-terrorist hostage-rescue operation.

The movie dramatises the events of July 1976 when two Palestinian and two German terrorists hijacked Air France Flight 139 en route from Tel Aviv to Paris. They held the passengers and crew hostage at Entebbe in Uganda, which was then under the control of the vicious dictator Idi Amin.

Eddie Marsan, Ben Schnetzer, Lior Ashkenazi and Denis Ménochet all star alongside Brühl and Pike, while Narcos director José Padilha is in control.

Amy Schumer leads this topical comedy as Renee, a young woman in New York battling feelings of insecurity and inadequacy on a daily basis, who wakes up from a fall believing she is the most beautiful and capable woman in the world.

Starring alongside Schumer are Michelle Williams, Emily Ratajkowski, Rory Scovel, Aidy Bryant, Busy Philipps and Sasheer Zamat. 

Never Been Kissed/How To Be Single pair Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein are on writing and directing duty for this one.

Directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi, the film tells the story of a young girl called Mary who follows a mysterious cat into the nearby forest and discovers an old broomstick and a rare plant that blossoms once every seven years.

Together, the flower and the broomstick whisk Mary above the clouds, and far away to Endor College, a school of magic...

Kate Winslet, Ewan Bremner, Jim Broadbent and Morwenna Banks are among those who lend their voices to the English version.
