This Week's New DVDs: September 18th 2017
Alien: Covenant, Arrow, Miss Sloane and Trust Me are among this week's new releases on DVD.
20th Century Fox
Ridley Scott returns to the dark, dank world of Alien for a brand new blockbuster and follow-up to 2012’s Prometheus.
Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace return from Prometheus, but this is mostly a brand new cast that includes Danny McBride, Katherine Waterston, Demián Bichir, Jussie Smollett, Amy Seimetz, Carmen Ejogo, Callie Hernandez, Billy Crudup, James Franco, Alexander England and Benjamin Rigby.
In this film, we follow the crew of the colony ship Covenant who find what they believe to be an uncharted paradise in a remote galaxy. Instead what the crew discover is a dark, dangerous world, whose sole inhabitant is the Fassbender's synthetic David, only survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
