Titles for Avatar's four sequels unveiled

The titles for the four planned Avatar sequels have been revealed.

According to BBC News, the films, which have thus far been known as simply Avatar 2, 3, 4 and 5, have now all been given titles.

They are Avatar: The Way of Water, Avatar: The Seed Bearer, Avatar: The Tulkun Rider and Avatar: The Quest for Eywa.

The sequel to the hugely successful adventure movie was originally due to be in cinemas by Christmas 2016, but has suffered numerous delays.

It was then announced that director James Cameron would be making four sequels to the original. The second and third movie in the series have been shot, with the fourth and fifth due to go into production in 2019.

The current plan for the four movies is to release them in December 2020, December 2021, December 2024, and December 2025.
