Tom Hanks and Margot Robbie among cast additions to Wes Anderson's new project
Margot Robbie and Tom Hanks are among a slew of cast additions to Wes Anderson's new movie.
There are no plot details on the film as yet, but the project is believed to have originally been planned to shoot in Rome, but moved to Spain earlier this year.
The report goes on to say that sets resembling a desert landscape have been going up in Chinchón, a small town located southeast of Madrid, over the last two months, with production beginning this month.
As well as Robbie and Hanks, Rupert Friend and Anderson regular Jason Schwartzman have also joined the cast, which already includes Tilda Swinton and Bill Murray.
Swinton, Friend, Murray and Schwartzman star in Anderson's new movie, The French Dispatch.
As well as Swinton and Murray, Frances McDormand, Jeffrey Wright, Adrien Brody, Benicio del Toro, Owen Wilson, Elisabeth Moss, Saoirse Ronan, Liev Schreiber, Edward Norton, Willem Dafoe, Cécile de France, Léa Seydoux, Timothée Chalamet, Lyna Khoudri and Mathieu Amalric all star.
The film brings to life a collection of stories from the final issue of an American magazine published in a fictional 20th-century French city.
Anderson directs and has written the screenplay. He created the story with regular collaborators Roman Coppola, Hugo Guinness and Schwartzman.
The French Dispatch will be released into UK cinemas on October 22nd.
