Touching new trailer for Disney's new live-action Dumbo unveiled

A brand new trailer for Dumbo, Disney's new live-action adaptation of the classic story, has debuted online. Click below to watch it:

The film stars Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green and Alan Arkin as well as newcomers Nico Parker and Finley Hobbins.

Dumbo tells the story of Farrell's Holt Farrier, a former circus star, who finds his life turned upside-down when he returns from the War.

He gets a new start when circus owner Max Medici enlists him to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughing stock in an already struggling circus.

But when Holt's children, Milly and Joe, discover that Dumbo can fly, everything changes...

Tim Burton is in the director's chair for this new adaptation, working from a script from Transformers writer Ehren Kruger.

The movie will be released into UK cinemas on March 29th this year.

Dumbo is the latest of Disney's animated classic to be given the live-action treatment and will be brought to the big screen with a mix of live action and animation.

It follows the success of Beauty And The Beast, Maleficent, Cinderella and The Jungle Book which have already made the transition successfully.

Aladdin and The Lion King are due for release in 2019.
