Tron 3 set to begin filming this autumn
A sequel to Tron: Legacy will begin filming in the autumn, according to reports.
Canadian news website Vancity Buzz reports that a sequel to the 2010 blockbuster will begin filming in Vancouver later this year, with cameras rolling from October.
The 2010 movie starred Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde and Jeff Bridges, so far only Hedlund has signed on to star in the sequel, but Wilde and Bridges have not been ruled out from returning.
Tron: Legacy served as the long-awaited sequel to the much-loved 1982 sci-fi thriller Tron. It grossed over $400 million at the box office and featured an original score from Daft Punk. Director Joseph Kosinki is expected to return to direct Tron 3.
