Searing new drama True History Of The Kelly Gang arrives in cinemas tomorrow (February 28th).
The film charts the early life of Ned Kelly, the notorious Australian gangster, robber and murderer.
Spanning the younger years of Kelly’s life and the events leading up to his death, the film explores the motivations for the demise and how he rose to notoriety.
The film gathers together an all-star cast that includes Russell Crowe and Charlie Hunnam as well as Essie Davis, Nicholas Hoult, Orlando Schwerdt, Thomasin McKenzie and Sean Keenan. 1917 breakout star George MacKay plays Kelly himself.
Justin Kurzel, director of the Michael Fassbender-led Macbeth and Assassin's Creed, is in charge of this one. It adapts Peter Carey's bestselling novel of the same name, which won the Man Booker Prize.
