Warner Brothers cancels start of Fantastic Beasts 3 production amid coronavirus concerns

Warner Brothers has cancelled the start of the third instalment of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.

Production on the third movie in the franchise was due to begin yesterday (March 16th), but the whole shoot has now been postponed amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The studio has also paused work on King Richard, the new Will Smith-led biopic about the life of Richard Williams, father of tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is the latest film to pause production. Over the weekend, The Batman, Jurassic World: Dominion and new Marvel epic Shang-Chi all stopped production.

Yesterday, TV shows Line Of Duty and Peaky Blinders also called off their shoots for their sixth seasons.
