Worlds collide and old enemies return in the new trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home
After a feverish build-up over the last few days, a brand new trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home has landed - watch it below...
Making its theatrical debut at a Marvel fan event and emerging online shortly afterwards, the new trailer follows on from the first and finds Tom Holland's Spider-Man dealing with the consequences of a botched spell to make the world forget Spider-Man's identity (revealed, as you may remember, by Mysterio at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home).
The new trailer sees Spidey and Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange battling the fallout as the fabric of the multiverse begins to tear - and a few of Spider-Man's classic enemies begin to slip through the cracks.
Allfred Molina returns as Dr. Otto Octavius - aka Doctor Octopus - for the first time since appearing opposite Tobey Maguire in Sam Raimi's 2004 sequel Spider-Man 2, while Jamie Foxx also repises his role as Electro, who was first encountered facing Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
The new trailer also sees the retrun of another old villain, the Green Goblin, who makes his entrance just as Doctor Strange is losing his battle to contain the aftermath of his botched spell.
The multiverse concept has some exciting implications and there's no doubt more to be revealed, but there's not long to wait now as Spider-Man: No Way Home is due to land in UK cinemas on December 17. You'll also be able to pre-order your copy the same day in our online store.
