Wonder Woman finds a new director
Patty Jenkins has signed on the dotted line to direct the upcoming Marvel movie Wonder Woman, two days after Michelle MacLaren left the project citing “creative differences”.
A statement released by the studio earlier this week announced MacLaren’s departure, saying: “Warner Bros. and Michelle MacLaren have decided not to move forward with creative plans to develop and direct Wonder Woman together.”
Now it seems that Patty Jenkins, who previously directed The Killing and Monster will be charged with bringing the project to life.
Jenkins is no strangers to the ever-changing film industry as she herself was attached to direct Thor 2 but pulled out of the film.
Israeli actress Gal Gadot will play Wonder Woman in the movie and she is expected to make her debut in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
