Who Are They?
The Driver Era consists of brothers Ross and Rocky Lynch. Both were once members of R5, a band they were in with siblings Ridel and Ryker as well as family friend Ellington Ratliff, but are now pursuing their own project.
Formed in 2018, the two have already built up a fearsome fanbase and are now building up to a new EP at the end of 2020.
What Do They Sound Like?
The sound is a way away from the sunny pop-rock of R5, this is genre-crossing, broad stroke stuff. The closest comparison is probably twenty one pilots. But, like Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, that's because you've no idea what their sound will be from one track to the next.
